Trousers HARKILA Moose Hunter 2.0 GTX (MossyOak®Break-Up country®/MossyOak®Red)

The Moose Hunter 2.0 GTX trousers are an enhancement of Harkila highly popular Moose Hunter trousers. They are shell trousers, developed with a special focus on moose/elk and other Scandinavian big game hunting. But they have proved to be highly popular for all kinds of hunting under tree cover. One of the enhancements is that the Moose Hunter 2.0 GTX trousers feature the new Mossy Oak® Red camouflage, which is far easier for other hunters to see and, conversely, simply invisible to hoofed game.

Like the Moose Hunter 2.0 GTX jacket, the Moose Hunter 2.0 GTX trousers are made from a brushed tricot fabric that is soft and silent and has been given a dirt- and water-repellent DWR treatment. The trousers have a breathable, hardwearing and fully windproof and waterproof GORE-TEX membrane that will withstand driving wind and rain. They are also reinforced at the ankles with a tough Cordura® fabric, and have a mesh lining inside to carry moisture away from the skin. Like the other garments in the Moose Hunter 2.0 range, the trousers feature a mix of camouflages, Mossy Oak® Break-Up Country® and the new Mossy Oak® Red. Hoofed animals are red/green colour-blind and the new Mossy Oak® Red camouflage is even better than previous blaze designs at camouflaging the hunter from the game, while being far more visible to other hunters. The Moose Hunter 2.0 GTX trousers have both front pockets and thigh pockets, all with waterproof zips, and ventilation zips with protective storm flaps on the rear thighs. The right thigh pocket contains a cartridge holder. The trousers also have shaped knees, and ankle straps and behind-the-knee adjustments. This allows for more space around the knees, which is useful for hunters who need a lot of freedom of movement. Hooks are sewn in at the ankles, to attach the trousers to your boots.
