Boots CHIRUCA Impala Gore-Tex

The Chiruca Impala Gore Tex Boot is a high-top boot, perfect for when you go out for a walk or do sports in the mountains. The difficulty of the terrain does not matter, since the high shaft gives you a good grip around the ankle. This boot is indicated for difficult terrain where a good grip is needed due to environmental conditions, the weight we carry and the distance and unevenness of the route.

Characteristics:

•  Gore-Tex Membrane :

GORE-TEX® footwear is breathable and durably waterproof. It has been designed by engineers to obtain optimum climatic comfort. The GORE-TEX® membrane is laminated to the inner lining, achieving a high-performance functional fabric. In addition, the seams of this inner lining are heat sealed with a special Gore-Tex tape. The lining will offer us durable waterproofing, maximum breathability and windproof protection. The secret of GORE-TEX® fabrics lies in their revolutionary dual-function membrane. The membrane is made of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene. It contains more than 9 billion micropores for every 2.5 square centimeters. These pores are about 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times larger than a molecule of moisture vapor. Thus, while moisture vapor (a gas) can easily escape, its liquid form cannot penetrate the Gore-Tex membrane.

•  VIBRAM sole: 

Type of sole of great durability, resistant to abrasion, allows you to run on difficult terrain such as stones or rocks, offering good grip and adherence to the ground thanks to the special rubber they incorporate. Due to its great cushioning, it helps to avoid foot pain after long mountain trails. They can be cleaned very easily with a little warm water and a brush.
